About me

Dr. Priya A Chauhan, MBBS,MD

I am born and brought up in India but have been practicing gynecology in Denmark in the past 28 years . I underwent my medical training in BJ Medical College, Pune, India and completed my specialization in Gynecology and Obstetrics from KEM Hospital, Pune in 1991.I owned my own private clinic with 4 beds in Pune called `Priya Nursing Home ´for a year where we conducted deliveries , operations like hysterectomy etc at the clinic.

I came to Denmark in 1993 and underwent my specialization once again (2001) and have worked in various University hospitals like Odense, Kolding, Esbjerg, Hillerød, Hvidovre, Copenhagen - Rigs and Herlev hospital as senior consultant.

I have specialised in minimally invasive surgical techniques like hysteroscopy , endometrial ablation and laparascopy. I have worked in the field of infertility for more than 30 years.

Since 1. march 2010 I am working as a gynecologist in the private practice.

In 2014 I started learning Ayurveda since I feel a disease is an expression of an imbalance in our body and thus an holistic approach to treatment would be more effective.
